Testimonials
“Ross made me a beautiful custom practice chanter that not only looks unique and beautiful, but has a very sweet tone and is easy to play. Ross is a perfectionist when it comes to tone. His drones are top notch. Rich, harmonic, and very steady. Have a listen and hear for yourselves!”
“I just purchased my new pipes from Ross and Andrew. They are beautiful and sound fantastic! I had my first set for 12 years and decided to replace them after two of the drones split. These new pipes are easier to play even though I have a larger bag. The sound is richer and more mellow according to my husband - who gets to listen to my practicing more than anyone. The craftsmanship and engineering that Ross thinks up and puts into his pipes can’t be surpassed. I am having a blast playing them!!”
“Ross, the maker, is a man of quality, as are his pipes. He has in him a bit of old world craftsman that really shows in his work. He isn’t satisfied if you’re not satisfied and will do everything he can to present you with an heirloom quality instrument you’ll come to cherish. His attention to detail is top notch and the sound is world class.”
“Ross and Andrew have made Collin, my grandson, and I each very nice practice chanters and each of us a set of the best Scottish smallpipes that I have ever heard or played. The next step is to make us each replacement Highland pipes. I give them a rating of 5 out of 5 and recommend them without reservation.”

About Me
MY NAME IS Ross Morrill
I’ve been playing pipes for most of my life. I learned from my father Andrew Morrill from the age of 6. In 2016 I was able to combine my passion for bagpipes with turning skills I learned at a previous job and start making pipes in addition to teaching and playing.
